Hi, I'm Caroline.
And I think I already know a little about you.

You're devoted. You show up. You love your family deeply and somewhere in the middle of all of that, you lost yourself a little. Maybe more than a little.

I know this because I've lived it. And I know it because I hear it from mothers every single day.

MY STORY

I've been where you are.

From the time I was young, I dreamed of becoming a mother. After years of navigating the challenges of our journey to parenthood, my partner and I welcomed our first rainbow baby girl in November 2020.

And then the postpartum period arrived and it was nothing like I had imagined.

I had a supportive partner. I had a wonderful midwife team. I had prepared. And I still felt overwhelmed, alone, and completely blindsided by who I was becoming.

Our second rainbow baby girl arrived in February 2024 and this time, something was different. I had the tools, the perspective, and the support I didn't have the first time. That difference changed everything. And it's exactly what I want for you.

I looked up one day and realized I had no idea who I was outside of being her mom. And I didn't know how to find my way back.

Why I do this

This work isn't about becoming a better mother.
It's about coming home to yourself.

I'm Caroline Kalicki, a postpartum and motherhood coach and founder of Mother Hen Coaching. As a mom of two daughters, I know firsthand how easy it is to lose yourself while caring for everyone else.

I work with mothers like you, women who are overwhelmed by the mental load of motherhood and feel like they're carrying everyone else's needs before their own. Together, we build practical tools to help you reconnect with yourself, prioritize your well-being without guilt, and feel more grounded, confident, and present in motherhood.

My work goes deeper than most people expect. It is about the emotional and identity work of motherhood that nobody talks about enough, the quiet shifts that happen inside you while the world assumes you are fine.

I work with mothers the way I wish someone had worked with me, with empathy, without judgment, and without the pressure to have it together before you show up.

My coaching blends mindset work, emotional wellness, self-compassion, nervous system support, and practical tools that fit into the reality of motherhood. No rigid routines. No toxic positivity. No bounce back culture.

Every mother I work with is different. Every journey looks different. What stays the same is the destination, a mother who feels more grounded, more confident, more herself, and more present for the life she is already living.
